Maciej Pilch

He is a student at the Cracow University of Technology. During the three years of first-cycle studies, he received the Rector’s Scholarship for the best students three times. In addition, he is carry out research in the field of applied photochemistry, as part of various research projects such as LIDER (LIDER/014/471/L-4/12/NCBR/2013) and POWROTY (POWROTY/1-4/2016). He is the co-author of four inventions that have been registered in the Polish Patent Office. He presented the results of his work at various types of conferences and exhibitions of local, national and international character such as 5th International Symposium on Sensor Science, International Invention and Innovation Show INTARG 2017. What’s more, technological solutions developed with his participation often win the highest honours during various types of scientific events such as International Warsaw Invention Show 2017 (gold medal), European Exhibition of Creativity and Innovation 2017 (silver medal), IIA International Innovation Fair (gold medal), International Invention and Design Competition 2017 (silver medal) or International Invention and Innovation Show 2017 (first place in the YOUNG INVENTOR 2017 competition). Apart from research activities, he is also the chairman of a demonstration section of Chemists Scientific Circle at the Cracow University of Technology and he actively participates in the work of the scientific circle through organizations of chemical demonstrations during such events as Małopolska Noc Naukowców or Festiwal Nauki.
