A graduate of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University in the field of Chemistry, in the specialty: Photochemistry and Optical Spectroscopy. During the studies Filip became interested in the process of photosynthesis, both natural and artificial, what resulted in a bachelor thesis on the phenomenon of electron transfer in cytochrome bc1 protein mutants and a master thesis realized as a part of the TEAM project focused on photocatalytic reduction of CO2. During the master thesis Filip was a FNP scholarship holder. In addition, he was actively developing his interests during stay at the Institute of Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences, participating in the implementation of the HOMING PLUS project focused on the de novo-designed photosynthetic proteins. During studies, he gained experience in laboratory work during numerous internships in scientific units such as IKiFP PAN, IF PAN and JCET. Currently, Filip is an employee of Photo High Technologies.
